CONTRACT FOR FIXED-TERM EMPLOYMENT The agreement applies to employment for a limited period. The Employment Protection Act allows only three different forms of fixed-term employment; general fixed-term employment, temporary and seasonal employment. Collective agreements may allow other forms of fixed-term employment. It only applies if the company is bound by a collective agreement. The employer must, within one month after the employee has started the employment, provide written information to the employee about the terms of employment. If the employment period is shorter than three weeks, the employer is not obliged to provide such information. However, we recommend doing so even for short-term employment.
